George Liasides

George studied law at Kingston University in the United Kingdom, earning his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.). He qualified as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales and was admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association in 1994. In 1997, he co-founded a law firm, and since 2010, he has served as the Managing Director of GEORGE LIASIDES LLC.

George’s practice focuses primarily on Corporate & Commercial Law, Real Estate, Private Client services, and Shipping Law. He is also a certified Liquidator and Insolvency Practitioner, and a registered Mediator for Civil and Commercial Disputes. He currently serves as the President of the Dispute Resolution Committee (for Extrajudicial Cases) of the Cyprus Bar Association, and previously held a position on the Committee for Companies, Capital Market, and Stock Exchange of the Cyprus Bar Association.

In 2023, George was notably the first to be appointed by the Cyprus Independent Authority Against Corruption as an investigating officer alongside an English solicitor and a barrister to handle a high-profile investigation in Cyprus, underscoring his reputation for integrity, expertise, and discretion in complex legal matters.
